Screen

Pencil & Pathways offers brief developmental and speech-language screenings for preschool and pre-kindergarten students, conducted conveniently at your child’s school. These screenings typically take 15–25 minutes and are designed to determine whether further evaluation may be beneficial.

Screenings are conducted by a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) and/or a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).

Why Early Screening Matters

Children with delays in development, speech, or language may be at greater risk for learning difficulties, including reading, writing, and broader academic challenges. Early identification and intervention provide the best opportunity to support a child’s growth and future success.
